I believe that manuals have there are four major reasons to have them.
The most obvious is that this is your um legacy.
This is the documentation of your system.
Uh
And so you can get it all together, you can make it logical, and that leads you to the second piece, that once that system is documented, that means your franchisees can get busy
Making money faster.
Instead of having to
search for information, to call for information all the time.
They have it in front of them.
They can learn it at their own pace because as adults we learn so much differently than we did when we were kids in school.
Um, but you have a great resource for them and that gets your system healthier faster.
The third reason you should have them is
manuals are a great
marketing tool for the licensing department.
And if they're not using them as such, they're missing a terrific opportunity.
I'm a big proponent for a number of reasons of having lots of small manuals.
Um
We are not, unfortunately, a nation of readers.
