But I wake up every day and start over again, and it's great belonging to a company where there's this set of values that we all agree to, and we belong to this organization because we all agree to it.
You know, I tell the story to – when our franchisees come in for basic training, I tell them that story, and I always say it that way because –
Franchisees sometimes laugh about that, and they think that.
And really, I would tell you that what I love about franchising is the people business.
It's people working with people.
We have a mission statement at our group to teach our principles and systems of personal and business success so that all people we touch live happier, more successful lives, whether it's our franchisees, our customers, our vendors, our associates, anybody that we touch.
That's what's so wonderful about franchising.
And I really enjoy working with people that have sat on both sides of that fence, franchisors who have been franchisees, franchisees who have been on the franchisor side.
We have probably close to, I think almost close to a dozen franchisees in our system who at one point or another worked at our corporate headquarters.
And I think that says a lot about the system that they believed so much in it they were willing to go
invest their money, blood, sweat, and tears to become a franchisee in the system.

He was actually a franchisee in three of our brands, and close to 40% of our brand presidents
also have been franchisees, either in the system they lead or in another system.
A lot of our vice president of operations come to us as having been a franchisee.
We think it's important that, to me, to really understand the true nature of franchising, you've got to have invested.
I tell everybody, I respect our franchisees because they took the risk and they invested
with their money, with their energy, with their heart.
They're all in.
