And like this argument, why would you have your kids if you have to leave them in school?
I just don't buy it.
Do you want nurses?
Do you want bin men?
Do you want the economy to run?
Parents, you know, it's hard to not be able to pick up your kids at 10 past one or 10 past two when they finish because you have to work.
But you have to do it because you've got to make money to look after them, to pay your bills.
So I just feel it's quite disingenuous in 2026 for people to be saying,
that schools are not childcare.
Because I feel like they are, you know, not teachers, but they are.
Schools should be hubs, you know, they should be seen as hubs.

And it's quite emotional, I think, the scooters, because people, they do get very annoyed with them.
They don't really understand that they can be part of like an interconnected ecosystem.
So before I moved to Brussels two years ago, I would have said ban them, get rid of them.
We don't need them.
But now that I live in Brussels, I see how they can be quite useful.
I mean, that's not to say, like, it's so distressing, Clare, reading those reports.
I mean, and if I was a doctor working with kids with brain injuries, I'd be saying the same, you know, and we have a huge problem.
