How many conversions did this ad campaign produce?
And whatever one produced the most conversions ultimately is always going to be the winning campaign in the eyes of AI.
Here is why that is not always the best way to look look at it.
First off, you're gonna run various campaigns that have various goals, not all of them which are designed to produce conversions.
You're going to run YouTube pre-roll.
You're gonna run CTV on LinkedIn.
You're gonna run engagement ads with thought leadership ads on LinkedIn.
Not all of those are designed to be direct response in nature.
In fact, some of them are simply designed to get in front of as many people and get into the day one consideration set of as many future customers as possible operating under the 95-5 principle.
So if you were to only rely on AI to do your reporting for your campaigns, it's going to look at every lead generation campaign, even no matter how good or bad it is.
And tell you compared to any of your non-lead generating campaigns, that that's the campaign that has performed the best and thus the one you should put more money in.
It has no sense of your goals.
It has no sense of your context.
It has no sense of the objectives of the ads.
It doesn't even know if it's going to be measuring against multi-touch or influenced or incrementality.
There's none of that context that goes into simply blindly relying on your foundational LLMs to do your ad reporting.
Make sure that before you even tell Claude or Chat GPT what to do when it comes to reporting on your ads, you give it all of the context in the world.
The first thing I would recommend you do is create a project within your Claude or create a collection of skills where you give it all of the organizational context for what the goals, purposes, and objectives of
of all of your ad types are.
Without feeding it all that context, all that is going to look at is whether or not your campaign produced conversions or produced leads.
