And Greg Maddux at the same time, because it's like the five different pitches are moving so late.
And he's almost like toying with hitters, which is scary to say at his age.
But to see him do it with the moxie and the respectability as a former player, like how he's such an example for everybody in MLB, but especially these young pitchers on the roster, it's just amazing.
Amazing.
And again, way better than I expected.
I expect this level on his career.
But to be so young, one year in the minor leagues, just one year in the minor leagues, to walk into a big league clubhouse, to do what he's doing, you know, with the stolen bases, with the 11 stolen bases, the power, he's going to hit 15 to 20 home runs this year minimum, in my opinion.
And, like, to start off kind of bad, too.
Great opening day, but, like, you know, there all of a sudden I'm on the radio.
When are they going to send him down to get him right?
He doesn't have a lot of experience.
All of a sudden he's batting 279.
He legs out infield hits.
He's been great in the field.
Again...
You know, the part that you could see when they were asking me in the spring training is when's this guy coming up?
And it's he earned the respect of these players.
That's the thing I kind of pay attention to because I was in that situation and I watched a lot of people come up and didn't earn the respect of the players.
Right.
He earned respect.
