I'm just going to be retired.

I'm going to have my ties on the beach.

And that's going to be.

And obviously, that didn't happen.

And there's still not a film of my first novel.

But for 10 years, I would advise any writer who gets published, you know, just take what you know.

And, you know, and take, you know, the little bit of option money you get.

every year and just take that and be grateful and so that's always been my perspective but now everything's official with the Midnight Library they've got Florence Pugh cast as Nora I think she's genuinely the perfect choice because Nora has it has to be someone who's incredibly versatile yeah

because someone who can be an Olympic swimmer, who can be sat there depressed on a sofa, who can be a rock star, who can sing, like Florence can sing.

So I'm very excited.

I even had a conversation on the phone with the producers a week ago, and they were talking about dates and starting filming in January and pre-prep, starting in August.

So yeah, it's getting real.

Oh, I thought you were going to say literally on the screen.

I'm definitely not going to be on the screen.

You wouldn't do a cameo?

Well, like with that children's film that not many people saw, I was offered a cameo, but I don't think anyone needed to see me as an elf.

So I gave that to my kids.

And they were in it.

My daughter's very proud of being Screaming Elf Girl number two.
