What probably happened was I was just picking it up, chewing it, you know, whatever three year olds do with books.

But she likes to tell people I read C.S.

Lewis when I was like in the womb.

But it's learning.

Yeah.

Getting in there by osmosis.

But no, C.S.

Lewis, I did read at quite a young age and he was my first sort of proper books.

I was a difficult teenager.

I didn't really, I got into a lot of trouble as a teenager, and I wasn't, I didn't have very high self-esteem, and I didn't really foresee a career path at all, to be honest.

Yeah, I was branded what we called, I don't know if it's the same in Canada, but we, in the UK, you were classed as special needs.

I was neurodivergent, but I didn't realize I was neurodivergent, so since I've been in

diagnosed with autism and ADHD.

But back then, and we're talking the last century, you were just different.

So it was like special needs.

And so it was a kind of mystery, but it just made me feel like a bit of a weirdo and I was sort of different.

So that lowered my self-esteem.

I got into sort of trouble at school.

I got arrested for shoplifting when I was 16 and various different things happened to me.
