They've had a bad luck season.
But I personally don't think that luck in the regular season translates to luck in the playoffs.
I think it can be very different.
So I think that they are very much alive still to win the NBA title.
yeah and like it's all see i think it's just all about solving problems right like are the nuggets as good defensively as okc no do they need to be no they just need to figure out a way to defend okc for seven games four times out of seven games need to be able to defend them with some level of performance um
Do they need to be better than San Antonio?
No.
They just need to be able to figure out how to defend San Antonio.
If they're able to figure out how to defend these teams in ways that require specific game planning and maximizing your talent, then they can pull this off.
Like, as a promising kind of thing, against top 10 teams this season in point differential, the Nuggets are 14th in defense.
Is that good?
No, but it's good enough because their offense is the best in the world.
So that's the whole equation here is can you be average defensively if you have the best offense that no one can stop?
But that's going to require guys to hit shots.
I believe I had to vote that year.
It was my one year I had to vote.
I voted Harden 1, Westbrook 2, Kawhi 3, LeBron 4 was my top four.
I don't remember who I voted fifth.
The argument I really came down to was
Westbrook, his contributions were all on the offensive side.
