And like, I thought Yoko's defense and the Phoenix game was excellent.
And then you run into this situation and it just becomes very clear that everybody, not just Nicola, but everybody is basically in this game of like, we're just going to outscore him tonight.
That's our game plan is we're just going to outscore him tonight because we don't have the legs and energy.
If we try and push ourselves to defend at a high level, it's going to cost us too much on the offensive end.
Now, the best version of the Nuggets defense still isn't very good, and that's a problem.
But I do think that a lot of this is about energy maintenance across the course of 82 games.
They knew they could put up 140 last night.
They knew that their offense was good enough.
And they go into a lot of games this way because they're right.
This is the best offense I think I've ever seen.
