Defensively.
He's been so great offensively, but he has been really bad defensively.
Christian Peyton,
Everybody like nobody had it last night to be able to contain their guy, but they knew they could get away with it.
And they did.
And as long as you win that argument, like as long as like you're right, it's fine.
It's just kind of the realities.
I think for a team like this, it's built this way.
They don't get to be the we go hard every night team.
That's just not who they are.
I go back to the 2011 Mavericks, which were one of the oldest and kind of most veteran teams.
But even the teams that the Heat put together when LeBron was in his prime, they were stacked with guys like Shane Battier and Ray Allen and guys that were really kind of at the end of their career, Donnas Haslam.
And then we kind of go through the Warrior stretch, and it was Andre Iguodala and Sean Livingston, guys who really had a lot of years under their belt.
In the 2018 run, David West played a big role for them, and he was at the end of his career.
So it used to be, you had to have veteran experience to know how to play.
And in part, because I think the game is, how can I put this?
I think the game is easier right now because of the space and pace and
and I think it becomes so much about how taxing it is.
Having fresher legs and more of them matters more than ever.
You used to be able to just grind the game down, and so you could make it this glacial-paced team.
