I think we all think about the transition to that, and I don't know, maybe it's not always there.
It is kind of a scary thing to think about because I do enjoy teaching, and I've always thought if this ever falls off the track, I'd probably lean into that quite a bit.
But yeah, you've got to be multifaceted.
You've got to do a bunch of different things.
It's funny.
I think one thing you just said there that really struck me was how much...
the modern student doesn't want to do the grunt work that I think we all kind of came up doing.
And I also think that it makes you appreciate when you do get somewhere that's worthwhile what it took to get there.
And I feel like a lot of students don't want to do that.
And honestly, to be honest with you, I love teaching.
I love being back.
There was one person, I reached out to a bunch.
We didn't have a super big journalism program at UB, so there weren't a lot of internal mentors.
But one person that I reached out to and got back to me right away, Mark Gohn, I told you the story.
And I wanted to be that for whoever wanted it at UB.
And over my four or five years back there,
I can pull out a dozen names that I was able to connect with that really took the mentorship, that have gone on their careers, all that kind of stuff.
The suggestions I've made, the jobs that I've found, the internships that I've found that people have been unwilling to do has blown me away.
