You know, what the hell?

This is 2020.

Let's try it.

I'm like, hey, I'm going to go do this YouTube thing, this social media thing, build this media company.

Went, got the job, worked my way up, you know, 10, 11, 11 year career with Capital One.

And then that came from, you know, that conversation with her.

And they're like, you're going to quit this job to go do that?

So that

I ended up making a really good salary, six figure job to walk away from that was scary.

Well, I was still with Cal.

I started YouTube in 2019, going into 2020.

Because in my mind, I'm like, I probably didn't even deserve to be here because I don't have a degree, I don't have anything.

So right before the pandemic, we had built some traction, not nearly enough to quit.

If I walk away from this, what's going to happen?

Very scary moment.

But by the time I quit, I was making enough money from it to make it make sense.

Built up a savings, a little nest egg to where if I fail or things don't work out, I can at least sustain living for X amount of months.

And then I had a really good rapport with my job.

I felt like I could go back if I had to.

So those were the things that kind of I played in my mind, like the scenarios.
