I was salesperson of the year that year.
So it's like winning the Super Bowl and then retiring.
So I was like, they'll hire me back if I don't make it, right?
I'm just wanting to let you know.
I'm going to still do my job.
So that gave me that confidence, that safety net.

Like, this is 2020.
I'm not just going to mail it in until I'm ready to quit, but I'm letting you know that I am considering this because at that time, people would start to notice me.
I'm like, hey, I'm going to go do this YouTube thing, this social media thing, build this media company.
And they're like, you're going to quit this job to go do that?
They would see me.
