And actually it goes back as a concept to basically the A V referendum in 2011, where I'd talked about something similar, how much changing the voters would cost.

And I linked that with public services, healthcare, defence.

worked very well as a message.

So that was the basis for that big figure.

Um, it would be far easier for us had there hadn't been another campaign.

When you've got two campaigns fighting against each other and emails going back and forth and people being BCC to emails you don't see and that sort of thing, it's very difficult to actually recruit people, donors, volunteers, activists.

It's almost impossible.

So that was a big nightmare.

I'd agree on that.

There's a strand of thinking the Labour Party's on the left, the hard left, which has basically always seen the EU as being a sort of capitalist plot.

That was always what people said.

So people like Jeremy Corbyn, John Macdonald, of course, both were in the Labour Party at the time.

I think sort of opted out from the referendum but they always had a mixed feelings about Princess Memory of the EU.
