Um, you know, we t we had a change or go book about how we could leave the EU, so we did have a plan.

It's quite interesting that um I believe it was George Osborne told the civil service not to have a plan for leaving the EU.

Okay.

So there was no preparation whatsoever done by the government for the event of a leave vote were to leave.

That seems to be.

Bloomberg speech, leaving was always on the table in Cameron's government.

So why wasn't any planning done over the six over the th those three years?

So that debate took place on the Tuesday, I believe, before the vote.

So two days out from the uh referendum day.

And I would actually say it was one of the big highlights of the referendum.

People in that final sort of furlong, those final 48 hours, would have been sort of tuning in, thinking about the final vote, how they're going to vote.

Still at that point, probably lots of people on the fence, thinking about which way to go.

So it was a really important deal for us.
