And one of the key principles of vote leave.

um having a sort of mainstream campaign was having the right people in that debate.

And where we ended up with Boris Johnson, Gizel Stewart, Andrea Ledsome, these were three very mainstream politicians representing us in that debate, rather than the likes of Nigel Farage and George Galloway.

So we had the right messengers out there who were all debate debate ready and did a great job.

They were off their game a little bit in that debate prep, but uh we were very pleased how they did on the day.

And uh of course Boris Johnson's final statement uh to our Britain's Independence Day was sort of the clip of the moment.

So that was great.

so much.

If people could predict illegal, exactly.

If people could correctly predict all the different matches, and I think all the goals as well, uh they were in line to win um fifty million pounds.

He tried to get three fifty million pounds, couldn't get the insurance for that.

So he did fifty million pounds.

Um this was copying an idea that Warren Buffett did uh in the U in the US I think with the Super Bowl and it basically got lots of publicity.

So it got slightly less publicity, but it was very useful in terms of gathering uh data and people's interests in the campaign and there was a reason for it.

Very good assessment.

We talked about the sort of long tail of the campaign and the build up, really since the massive treaty of the referendum party and the Bruges Group and all these different groups and UKIP of course.

So the Leave campaign had very good grassroots right across the country.

But the Remain campaign, you know, fewer grassroots but were more elite led, which wasn't a good look.

This is one of the elements of basically sort of British politics and coverage, isn't it?
