That to me is what a relationship is like.
So it's finding someone with enough of the raw materials, enough of the things that make you go, oh, this kind of works.
I feel more myself around you.
I feel at home in the best way.
I don't feel like I'm trying to be something that I'm not to impress you.
I see you, you see me.
There's something interesting here.
And I think if we can get curious about those feelings, instead of looking for this kind of otherworldly feeling, we'll realize how many people we could actually work with.
And then it starts to get really interesting, because you realize there's a lot more ones than you knew.
And you don't start with the one.
Someone ends up as the one.
I think that's the difference.
They don't start as the one.
They end up being the one because of what you've built together.
And now you look back and they go, oh, look, they're the one.
But not on day one.
I think love at first sight is a very, very dangerous concept.
Love at first sight is such an insult to two people who have been married for 30 years.
You know what I mean?
They're the one.
