I I've n I have no idea really why that is 'cause it could be the most random matchup that you just like we can't just beat this team, you never feel good in their building or whatever it is and and

I wish I had a better explanation of why that is.

I don't know, but I I've I have found that uh throughout my career and throughout um playing against certain franchises.

It's just sometimes it's hard, sometimes it's easy.

played against him you for sure noticed when he was on the ice and you knew you had to be on your toes.

And conversely now playing with him I think and obviously I I I don't have any numbers backing it up or anything like that, but when I go back for a puck when I'm on the ice with him, I feel sometimes I get an extra second.

Uh just 'cause maybe the the opposing team is they want to stay on the right side, they may not want to be as aggressive with

their four checks.

So I mean that helps me a lot as a demon knowing that I can go back and I'm not saying I have an extra second, but it could be just a an extra split second sometimes where that helps you on your breakout to to make sure we can get the pass on on our forward tapes and especially Dave O'Stick obviously when he comes up by us.

So um I think that for sure he is an intimidation factor and I know when I played against him I knew

I I always looked over my shoulder to see if he was on the ice or not.

Yeah.

No, it's always special come back, obviously see a lot of players that you've played with and and staff and management and all that kind of stuff.

So it's always a good feeling coming back.

But I guess the longer it goes also the longer um I guess you realize it w it's been it's been a while since you were here now, so it it kinda feels even longer.

So um no, just we have great memories.
