But rendezvous is a little bit different than bikepack racing.

So they couldn't fill in all those blah uh gaps for me.

So I kind of hoped that this

This this would help fill in some gaps for people and not just get more women and underrepresented genders in the start line, but have them racing and feeling confident as well.

So um yeah, it's been really cool to be part of.

I think we're gonna do a post-uh divide virtual meetup and and maybe talk about.

how what we want the group to look like in the future and I'm not sure how involved I'll be.

But uh I mean that's all stuff we can figure out and yeah, it's been it's been a cool thing to be uh part of this year.

It makes me feel more um

more connected to the race and um and there's just like so many so many awesome folks out there riding bikes who um I might not have met if not for this group.

Lots of conversations about bears.

And like fair enough, that is something that we should take seriously on the divide route.

Um and yeah, so lots of conversations about bears and it's kind of nuanced too.

It's like, you know, best practices versus what people actually do on the trail versus like maybe what you shouldn't do, which is like, you know, sleep next to your bike full of food.

Conversations about chamises and shorts

shorts and yeah, lots of people kinda experimenting with the no chamois life and different kinds of merino blend underwear and and conversations about how that's going.

So um I think that was yeah that that

That's such a one that's so specific to your body.

And so it's nice to talk to other people and get ideas and then go back and do your own experimentation, right?

Some practical stuff about like what resupply and what resources actually look like out there.
