I just started assigning
sins to characters.
I had a spreadsheet where I thought, okay, if it's a group of people who are doing Dante's Inferno in real time, what if each person is a sin?
What's the worst possible thing that I could think of?
Because at the time too, I was getting really into Dungeons and Dragons, and I love to make my Dungeons and Dragons characters sad and suffer, and their backstories are always depressing.
So it just felt like a natural progression to do that.
