Um, I do but in a uh queer way.

I I love to work with cosmic horror and I love to read cosmic horror that would make Lovecraft's ghost turnover a bunch of times.

Um, I totally acknowledge his more problematic legacy.

Um, he wasn't exactly the best person.

Um, but you know, when you're working in this genre it's kind of undeniable that he was there and he set, you know, precedent upon precedent.

I mean a lot of this book draws from Mountains of Madness and touches on a lot of the the OGs like Carcosa, the King and Yellow, all all of that stuff.

So it would be apt to say that it is Lovecraftian because it works with a lot of the genre conventions.

But I had an amazing review that a friend sent me that said it was the unproblematic

love child of Lovecraft or something like that.

So I think that Lovecraftian is apt.

I've been kind of trying to avoid using that specifically because I think that always needs to come with the disclaimer of yes but.

Yeah.

I I also didn't want people to go into it thinking that Cthulhu was gonna show up in the game.

You know, 'cause I feel like to folks I guess who aren't

really as in reader spaces as we are.

Um they hear Lovecrafting and think, okay, where are the tentacles at?

Um so I mean that that's kind of a a caveat that I have to to give sometimes.
