I mean, part of it is the Brewers are just a supernova right now.

So whatever they're doing is dwarfing the Cubs.

I mean, the Cubs have been kind of basically playing 500 ball over the last month.

So that obviously hasn't helped.

But I do think...

Their relative issues get exposed a lot more, which is how well Milwaukee's been playing.

And so it just looks a lot more daunting than I think this stretch really is.

I mean, I think Dodgers fans and Mets fans probably have more to complain about than the Cubs do right now, given recent play.

But I do think the biggest issue with the Cubs right now is, I mean, their offense is

carried them for the first two to three months of the season.

And over the last four weeks, just that top-to-bottom consistency really hasn't been there.

They really haven't been able to blow out teams, which was really important earlier in the season, and the top four hitters in their lineup didn't

just have not been producing at the same clip, especially, say, Suzuki.

Michael Bush has been striking out a ton.

Kyle Tucker, I mean, he still isn't on base percentage near 400 because of his walks.

But, I mean, he's really been struggling, too.

So it's just a bunch of guys slumping at the wrong time together.

Yeah.
