Yeah, there's half a game. They almost came back against the Astros. Interesting one to Josh Hader dealing with a shoulder thing we found out yesterday as well. So Houston is obviously a team. The Blue Jays are near in the standings as they fight for a buy in the first round. The Blue Jays are half game up on Detroit and two games up on Houston. So we will be scoreboard watching those teams in addition to the Red Sox who are now four and a half games back. But yeah, a bit of a bust of an off night before we, oh, Shai's already there. A fun weekend of baseball. I mean, Saturday's game wasn't great, but Friday, the Kershaw-Scherzer matchup was super cool. There was amazing energy in the stadium. It was also a Kobe Bryant night with a bobblehead giveaway, so that added another dynamic to it. I think it was like $53,000 or $55,000, something like that. And that was a lot of energy and a lot of fun. And then just one of those insane, doesn't make sense. baseball is dumb kind of games on Sunday, which made for a riveting ending. And, you know, you also saw kind of the madness of the three games in Colorado and just the absolute dismantling of the Rockies there. So a pretty wild road trip.
Yeah, a pretty baseball is weird road trip, I would say. And, you know, I guess we could add Mason Flewharty getting his first career save against Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts to that list. I mean, I don't think it's weird or stupid. I think it's just, you know, it's so cool to see a rookie come up in that moment shy. And I'm just wondering, you know, first of all, what that does – to a team's trust in a player like that and just how fired up was Flewharty after getting that save?
Yeah, I mean, he was kind of funny. He said, he was like, I was so pumped. He's like, all I wanted to do was run and give Kirk a hug after getting the final out. Look, I think that whenever you have a player who succeeds in a moment like that, in a virtually impossible situation, that is good for not only the player's confidence, but the team's confidence in that player. I think ideally the Blue Jays don't want to have to put him in those types of emergency situations too often. And one outing alone does not... change the entire trajectory of a player's career. But this is somebody who's building towards trying to build some momentum, trying to establish himself in the majors, trying to learn about how his stuff plays.
