Yeah, I mean, he's made some tweaks between his lower half setup.
He's opened up a little bit more with his stance, and he's worked with keeping his posture more upright so he's not as hunched over.
Early in the year, he had a very pronounced high leg kick, which has been a staple of him.
his stance, you know, his whole life, but they really worked on cutting that down.
So he just looks smoother.
The timing is all together.
He's shown in the minors that he can hit for power.
And that's finally been happening more consistently at the big league level.
But yeah, he's been the one kind of bright spot over these last two weeks in particular, which is,
really encouraging since the cubs ultimately decided not to to look for a potential offensive upgrade at third base
I mean, I think definitely on the defensive side, he's lived up to the hype and the expectation.
I mean, part of the reason that they pursued him so heavily versus the others in that free agent shortstop market, obviously the money was certainly a factor in that.
But they really wanted to build a really, really strong defense, especially up the middle.
And so you look at what he's doing, especially now that he's fully healthy coming into the season.
After last year, he was dealing with a hernia, sports hernia issue that he had.
played through for a stretch.
And so I think on the defensive side of things, yeah, I mean, he's been fantastic.
I think offensively, you know, they hoped to maybe tap into a little bit more consistency, you know, that he showed in some of those final, I think maybe his last year in Atlanta.
You know, the power numbers have come back this year, which has been encouraging.
I think, you know, kind of the biggest issue for him this year has been hitting with runners in the scoring position.
