And obviously he has a slider that he can go to as needed.
But I think one of the big things is obviously the chase rate he can generate and some of the whiffs.
I mean, he's in the 87th percentile this season in chase percentage.
They really need some starters that have some of that.
They have a lot of contact-oriented pitchers in their rotation, which they obviously have the defense to help.
help that profile of pitcher but you know it's still you still want swing and miss when you can get it it's still extremely valuable especially when you get to the postseason and you're obviously facing the best of the best at that point and so I think it's just that combination and his fastball has been a super effective pitch for him this year it's
been one of the best in terms of run value in the majors.
And so I think just like that combination, the experience and just, you know, I think the big thing is, can they cut down on some of the walk issues he's had in the last month or two, but the stuff, you know, I think should still play.
Yeah.
They should be getting Hobie Milner back.
He should be the first one back.
He could be back sometime this week.
He's had, I believe now, two rehab outings since he's coming back from his appendectomy.
He's really close.
Daniel Palencia, I would say, probably is the next one up.
He's going to need a couple of rehab assignments, but that should be underway this week as well.
That sets him up to come back maybe the following week at some point.
Hunter Harvey is another guy who could be going on rehab assignments somewhat soon based on the last update we had.
He's going to need more rehab outings, it sounds like, than Valencia just because he hasn't pitched.
She's been down since April in terms of a competitive environment.
