Do you remember what the kind of big thing was that you felt like you learned about yourself, about the kind of work that you wanted to do, about how you wanted to expand or change?

You are so wonderfully articulate and approachable that I can't imagine you've ever had a difficult or a resistant subject.
But you, of course, must have had difficult and resistant subjects.
How do you deal with them?

self-effacing you are and the more you make yourself seem as if you're small and unserious or not or you know um feminized the more people reveal in front of you without even thinking twice about what they're revealing I wish I could say I did in that Joan Didion way I did it in the like please take me seriously I worked so hard for myself and then like it still didn't happen so I just went with what it was but I do feel like
So people's resistance can tell you something interesting about them, right?
