But I said, promise me this.
If a referee makes a mistake and a player is sent off in the round,
and you have evidence, will you overturn it?
You know, be fair.
And you make a mistake, you make a mistake.
And I just think this whole refereeing thing, it's become, the referee, the really good referees over the years, it's a, I've said this, it's an extremely difficult job.
But the really good referees are out there.
They play it as they see it.
They make an odd mistake.
It balances out.
I agree with Colm overall yesterday.
Okay, Cork got a few.
There was one or two that shoulder from,
Alan Connolly on Sean Finn was that free I agree on the two yellow cards were very soft but let them referee the game on its merits we're talking about referees too much they're too much in the spotlight and I just think it's making it more and more difficult and all this stuff going on we're talking about it here again today there's more pressure on referees next week again because I didn't actually you know when I was watching it I didn't think god this is a scandal and it's only when you kind of go on social media which again is an extreme barometer or you read reports afterwards or you listen to Ben O'Connor it's like
And Joe, what happens is the team then will, they will react to what's happening in front of them.
So they'll go out and if they get away, if backs are getting away with pulling and dragging and holding, they're going to do it all day long.
And et cetera, et cetera.
And this spare arm tackle is a curse on the game.
We know that, particularly if you're a forward and we're trying to get free.
Absolutely.
