That's the power of franchising is the other franchisees.
Also, just the competitive nature to see somebody go up on stage and win Franchisee of the Year and say, I can do that.
So that really was a key part of that.
it goes back to
building long-term relationships.
Some of those franchisees that I got to know when I was a franchisee are brothers today.
And there's five or six that are still very, very close.
As a franchisor, I think the acceleration was because I came from a franchisee background, I had infinite respect for the franchisees.
And I always made it very, very clear that my boss was not the board of directors, was not the shareholders of ServiceMaster, which sometimes made my bosses, most of them got it.
couple of them looked at me and said,
no, no.
Your budget is the boss.
Your shareholders are the boss.
And I'd say, no, my responsibility is to fulfill the commitments that
made to our franchisees.
and to innovate and grow the market and listen to the franchisees and hold them accountable.
And that the franchisees held us accountable.
Now, we also had to have brand standards.
When we had a franchisee that wasn't going to make brand standards,
