of IFA?
I thought it was a good seal of housekeeping.
So I called Don DeBolt, who was then chairman of IFA at that point, CEO.
And Don came out and visited and basically said, here's all the things that IFA does representing the industry.
And what caught my attention is that ServiceMaster had a significant government affairs relationship, our organization, but it was primarily in our pest control industry.
It was in our Terminex business, in our lawn care business, in our home and warranty Amerispec business.
But we didn't have experts for government relations in franchising.
So I saw IFA as an outsourced government relations organization to protect and enhance franchising.
And so I looked at the dues that we paid that I was buying that.
I outsourced that to the experts.
So then I had the same power as Coca-Cola, as Marriott, as ServiceMaster, and big and small.
And then as I got involved in IFA, getting to know Matt Shea, getting to know a lot of the folks, folks like you, Stan, and myriads of others, I learned about, again, the opportunity to learn from fellow franchisors.
And suppliers and franchisees.

You said David McKinnon was with you a couple weeks ago.
David ran Molly Maids.
David actually started as a service master franchisee in Canada and then formed Molly Maids.
And when David and I had, David owned it.
I never owned anything like that, but David and I would talk frequently as competitors.
that's, like you say, that's the great part.
