There is no magic place where that happens, right?
So so to me, the important thing there to point out is that the continuity, that's the null hypothesis.
It's not on us to have to argue that actually, you know, people think, well, you you know, to to to to to claim that that um physical systems and and minds are on the same spectrum is this like bizarre thing that you have to argue for.
No, no, that's the null hypothesis.
We know we know those are the facts of development of embryogenesis.
is a is a critical teacher of that.
If if on the other hand you think that there are great uh phase transitions or something special happens, that's the thing that needs arguing.
And I'm not saying it's impossible.
Um I've not heard a good argument for it, but but that's the thing that would need to be shown.

You know, the null hypothesis is actually should actually be the background.
And that's not how how people think about this at all.

So so here's my here's my approach to this.
Um, one of the ways that people argue against this kind of continuity thesis is uh the paradox of the heap.
So the idea is, right?
So you get a pile of sand and then and then they say, well, you know, if if uh of course you could argue that every time you take a piece of sand away, you know, when does it stop being a heap and the whole thing is kind of useless?
That's the that's the the argument.
