So it's not PTSD where you see horrible things that happen in war that you expect to happen in war.

You know, your buddies get shot, you're shooting people.

This is when you do something that you think

think is wrong, or you witness something that you think is wrong and do nothing.

And that is what we forced a lot of the young Marines at the gates at Kabul Airport, HKI Airport, to do and deal with.

So I really want to call attention to them.

I really don't think they get the attention and support they deserve.

And that really came to us in the course of making the film.

I didn't really know about it ahead of time.

You're right.

It's a very important distinction.

PTSD, every war people will be experiencing PTSD.

It's unavoidable.

Moral injury is not something our Marines or any of our service members should experience.

I mean, the classic example in our film is by the time that

you know, mid to late August, people are outside all the gates trying to push their way into the airport.

And Marines are at the gate and they have to decide who to let in.

So the State Department says in the beginning, you can only let in people who have US passports or special immigrant visas and not their families.

So the family comes in, you have to tell the wives and children, you're going to take them to the exit gate.

And who's on the other side of the exit gate?
