Um I appreciate the applicants, I guess.

uh determining what they finally want to do with the site and removing one substation and focusing on the second.

Um however, I do agree with staff's comments.

I don't believe it's appropriate in this location.

A lot of the same reasons I gave uh regarding the data center that we uh uh we voted on and I didn't support uh last week.

Um and so basically those same uh thoughts I have regarding the location

Substation is needed, uh, given I also didn't believe the data center uh was appropriate as well.

And we don't know where the power is coming from.

Um if there was a main line running next to it, and we knew yes, it's dropping down from here, but we don't know that.

Would it be coming from I the the line that runs on the west side of 28?

I'd be surprised if they could swing it across uh the highway and drop it given the number of

Data centers that are being powered on that side.

There's a line farther to the east that's north-south.

Maybe that line would be used, but that crosses quite a bit of territory, so we don't know how that would play out.

So for these reasons, I move the Planning Commission forward, LEGI 2025-53, Dallas North Technology Park, ZMAP 2024-17, Commission permit 2024.

2025-9, special exception 2025-101, and special exception 2025-102 to the Board of Supervisors with a recommendation of denial based on the findings for denial provided as attachment for the September twenty-second, twenty twenty-six Planning Commission public hearing staff report.
