I'm the Vice President of Lauder Valley States and I wanna follow up on what Victor just uh talked about, but with something more concrete.
Because this is not just our community's opinion.
It's a conclusion of four independent authorities.
D SEC's own staff stated that these transmission lines and substations wouldn't would not be needed if not for the multiple data centers in the area.
They found it, and I quote, perplexing that Dominion refuses to discuss cost allocation.
J Lark, the legislature owned research arm, found that excluding data center demand, projected Virginia growth is effectively zero percent zero.
With data centers JLOC projects up to hundred eighty three percent.
Growth by twenty forty.
PGM PJM itself, the grid operator, designated this project as data center alley local solution, not a reliability solution, a data center solution.
The purpose is not public, it's solely to serve private interest of the data centers.
On April the fifteenth this year, Dominion's own contractor, Jack Story of Dewberry, was asked directly, is this substation being built to serve existing capacity or new capacity?
His answer, new capacity.
And when asked whatever this new capacity exists yet, he said, and I quote.
That is correct.
This does not yet exist.
So this substations are built for something that not yet here, for load that has not materialized, for data centers whose agreement are hidden behind non disclosures.
The SEC's not listening to the county yet.
