Members of the Board of Supervisors, my name is Brian Turner, and today I serve as general counsel to the Loon Coalition of HOAs and condo associations representing more than 50,000 Lounge residents.
Over the past several years, our communities have made some honest observations about the data center industry in Loun County.
First, the data centers do a remarkable job generating tax revenue for this county.
industry as a whole has not contributed in any meaningful way to mitigate the negative impacts that come with it.
You will see some individual data center applications that appear thoughtful.
Some operators work to
industry into Laun now suffers from unforeseen or unintended consequences negatively impacting quality of life for its residents.
Most operators within Laun are members of the Data Center Coalition.
Despite formal requests to the coalition for help in addressing
