Yeah, I love the phrase you can have hard conversations in an easy life or easy conversations in a hard life.

People pleasing was me just having easy conversations with everybody that made my life ultimately harder.

And I realized that by not being a people pleaser, by honoring my boundaries with my friendships, with social media, with my following.

With relationships, whatever.

It might be uncomfortable on the front end, but everybody is happier on the back end, including me, including you.

So when you realize you're just robbing yourself of future peace for a little bit of pleasant uh a little bit of pleasantry in the present.

It's freeing.

Like it their life is gonna be hard either way.

And I just started choosing to honor my boundaries and

being honest with people on the front end about what I can and can't do and what I do and don't tolerate because I realized if I show up this way now, we're all gonna be happier in the long run.
