And the point that John is making also is that merely because you take down the likes of Kennehan,
or McGovern or these people, it's not a question that the thing falls apart, that they have a structure in there to continue.
And this man, Dixon, who's apparently a cousin of the Kinhans, originally from Dublin, he's the man who's in charge now and they've done some serious work on that.
Completely designer gear, designer lifestyle, the whole thing.
And about as far away as one can imagine from a prison cell,
in somewhere like the Midlands or Portlaoise or wherever some of these people end up.
Absolutely.
And the thing that jumps out at me straight away is people are saying we should be talking about diversion into health.
You don't have to decriminalise anything to have proper resources into health services dealing with addiction.
The most obvious example of that in this society is in prisons.
I did a story a few weeks ago, there isn't one addiction nurse in our prison system and you're talking about two or three thousand people who are in there who have drug problems.
Some of them, if not a large number of them, their criminality is directly associated with addiction.
We're not even dealing with that as it exists at the moment before anything to do with decriminalising drugs.
But if we do decriminalise drugs, I mean, I think Bridget's point is very well made and the regularising of it.
