They also do the good in the hood, giving away a million dollars every year to help other charities.
What more do you think business can do to help?
I think business should recognise that they are leaders themselves within the community.
I think what we tend to do a lot, and I don't know whether I've just noticed this or we're doing more of it, but if you watch, say, the TV news or whatever feeds you get, just how often when something's not going well, people say the government should.
I'm not saying that governments don't matter.
Yeah, that's me.
I'm often on you saying that.
Yeah, so I'm not saying it's a bad thing.
But I think that business leaders should think about
Your government should do what governments do best.
And businesses, I think, can be, frankly, more responsive to moves or shifts in the community than government.
Businesses, I think, can understand risks in a different way to government or they look at different types of risks.
Businesses in certain areas can be way more commercially minded than governments.
So I actually think that business leaders, to make it personal, that the people who are leading businesses, particularly large businesses, should be thinking more about
and many of them do, that we're not just here to make a profit.
Actually, how can we impact the environment?
How can we impact the community?
And think about what their leadership role is in that rather than I'm making squillions and I'll take 1% and donate it back to charity.
There are other ways I think you can provide leadership that are good for the community, which is not just making charitable donations, which is as good as it is.
