It's hard to say.
I think anytime you're in the middle of something, it always feels the hardest you've ever done.
Whether you're doing something like you're running a marathon, this marathon feels harder than the last one.
This financial challenge or economic crisis feels tougher than the last one.
It's hard to know because I'm not the same person.
So the one you're always in is always the hardest because it's the one you've got to deal with right here, right now.
I think you can learn from the past.
That's really helpful to have.
But yeah, there's nothing quite like being in the middle of something to really narrow your context and you start to go, okay, it's never been this bad.
That said, I do think personally that what we currently got is the accumulation of a number of things.
We came into 2008, the world was going mad.
It was very prosperous on average for most people.
Whereas this one, you know, off the back of COVID, economic decline, and now effectively a fuel crisis or an energy crisis, that just feels like, you know, think about it, 2020 was six years ago now.
It's a long time to be, particularly in small business, to be hanging on.
Whereas in 2008, 2009, it happened so much quicker, shorter period of time.
And we came out of it much sooner.

What's some advice to people, you know, it's record liquidations, not just with cafes, but I think...
you know gyms you know in our area um of glen eden we've had uh bft closed down we've had f45 closed down it just shows how tough things are yeah out there what's some advice you can give to small business owners out there at the moment
I'd still encourage people just to bring it back to the basics or keep it simple.
