He was the, he worked with the secondary with John Harbaugh and the Ravens.

Then he won a national championship as the defensive coordinator for the university of Michigan.

I think that we, you know, last year in his first year in the NFL as a defensive coordinator, uh,

The Chargers had the number one scoring defense this year.

I think we all remember that he made Aaron Rodgers look really old and really bad because of his really good defense.

I think the challenge is going to be a lot of people believe that he could end up with Baltimore.

So what is Baltimore going to decide?

And will his ties to Baltimore ultimately end up leading Jesse Minter there?

But I think that he's kind of right in the middle, kind of similar in a lot of ways to Shula, where

He's 42 years old.

He's still in that young category.

He's defensive-minded, which would seem to fit the franchise.

I think it seems like he's got enough connections to build out a staff.

Leadership qualities.

I'm a pretty big fan of his and actually am wondering when or if they're going to bring him in for his in-person interview.

Yeah, so Rick Minner, his dad, is the head coach of the University of Cincinnati, and they bring in a young defensive backs coach named none other than Mike Tomlin.

And evidently, Jesse Minner wanted to be a great football player, realized that wasn't going to happen, he needed to go into coaching, and looked up to and idolized Mike Tomlin, and they had a 25-year relationship there.

Even as recently as like a year ago, Jesse Minner was talking about how much he admired and looked up to Mike Tomlin.
