And they just look at a quarterback with 15 college starts, one year of starting experience, and they feel like that's just not enough to risk a first round draft pick.

The other part of this is the Steelers were scarred when they drafted Kenny Pickett.

When they drafted Kenny Pickett, they didn't draft him because they believed he was a first round talent.

They drafted him because they needed a quarterback.

And they learned that just because you need a quarterback in the first round does not mean that there's a first round talent waiting to be your future franchise quarterback.

And that's why you've seen them be hesitant to pull the trigger on guys like Jackson Dart.

For example, last year, they're waiting for that guy that they truly believe in.

And right now, Ty Simpson's not one of those guys.

You know, you look at what they did last year with Aaron Rodgers and they got 10 wins and they were fighting until the final week of the season and really the final play of the season until Tyler Luke missed that field goal to get into the playoffs.

Then once they got there, they truthfully looked like the team that was least qualified to be a playoff team.

I kind of think that the Pittsburgh Steelers this year are similar, where they probably are going to be fighting and clawing until the final week of the season to try to prove themselves and get into the playoffs.

I just see their ceiling as maybe winning one playoff game max.

You know, the Pittsburgh Steelers are stuck in this current football purgatory where they're always in the conversation, but they're never actually in contention.

And there's a difference between being talked about as a playoff team and being a team that has the quarterback and the team necessary to go and make that deep run.

And that's the disconnect for the Steelers.

And that's why right now they have a playoff losing streak that dates back an entire decade.

I think that that's a good projection right there.

I think that's likely.
