But I've caught wind of the possibility that an expansion to 18 games would include a limit for each player to 17 games played each season.
And a lot of guys will miss a game anyway due to injury.
But you get into some weird stuff late in the season where you have to use healthy scratches on players who haven't missed a game yet.
That's one way that they're possibly going to get this through.
Tell the players who are reluctant about playing 18 games, you don't have to.
You're only going to play 17.
Wouldn't that be hilarious if it happened?
Because that's exactly what transpired four years ago when Kenny Pickett was still on the board and everybody was looking.

Nobody jumped the line to get Najee Harris.
The question is, number one, will someone take Ty Simpson before he gets to the Steelers?
