We saw it was possibly coming.

We talked about it on Football Night in America in advance of the Ravens-Steelers game from Pittsburgh on Sunday night.

But when it happens, it's still a surprise.

And it's the kind of move... I had said this for years about Mike Tomlin, because there's a portion of the Steelers fan base, anytime the Steelers would lose two or three games in a row, they begin calling for Tomlin to be fired.

And I've said...

Look, Tomlin, if fired, will immediately land somewhere else.

There will be teams that are thinking about firing their coaches who will fire their coaches for a shot at Tomlin.
