There's no other reason to leave other than that.

But you know what?

They arrested something like 600 people in Chicago over the preceding months before they left.

Do you know how many had criminal records?

um 16 i was i was gonna say nine but yeah it was 16 that's how many people how many arrests what what's it was it was something like 650 people was how many they arrested which by the way all this chaos and shit for only 600 people 600 people does not sound like an effective operation to me either not that i want them to be more effective it's just you know they're giving you the impression that they've deported like hundreds of thousands of people which is not true it's not even close

We're not in a great place right now in this country.

We're in a place where we have people who have zero respect for the rule of law, who are terrorizing immigrant communities because of the color of their skin, and

We have a Congress that's been completely sidelined.

And, you know, Mike Johnson works for Donald Trump.

He doesn't work for his constituents.

He doesn't work for the American people.

And that isn't going to get better until we elect a Democratic Congress in November, I hope.

And we need to make sure we elect the right Democratic Congress in November that's actually going to fucking stand up to this administration and leverage its powers because it looks like they're not going to pursue a shutdown in a couple weeks again, which I think is a strategic mistake.

But I don't know.

I mean, Democrats don't have a lot of power in Washington right now anyway.
