So just when you're out of power, you're out of power in the American system.
But I don't know.
Yeah, I just I think it's.
I think we've been afraid to elevate the next generation of leaders.
And I think that our best talent has been sidelined and is often, frankly, doing content creation instead of being in Congress where they need to be.
And I think we need politicians that understand that balance of
giving a shit about our constituents and the people that we're fighting for.
Even if they don't vote for us, we're still fighting for a lot of those people, even if they don't support us.
Like for instance, like a lot of rural voters and ranchers that are getting screwed by Donald Trump and big ag, but I want them to understand how to use power.
Like part of the reason my sub stack is called endless urgency is because I admire that sort of like urgency you see from the Trump administration to use the power of government to steal and hurt people.
you know, get the shit that they want to get done.
I want to see that from the next Democratic president.
And I want to make sure that when we do it, it's not because we're fueled by grievance, where we're just trying to piss off conservatives.
It's that we're actually trying to figure out how to make sure everybody has health care and people can afford to put groceries on the table and people can buy a house and...
take a vacation, retire with dignity and make sure that people aren't drowning in student loan debt.
And if we do that and use the power effectively in a way that frankly, I don't think the Biden administration used its power effectively.
It certainly didn't use it as effective as Trump has used it in the last year.
So now we have a model for that.
And we're going to have to make some tough decisions.
