And I totally get it.
If you're a fan, you want to perform in the playoffs, especially against your biggest rival, as the Dodgers are, and you don't perform well, you're going to wear that for a long time.
But for everybody else, you know, one or two postseason starts against a really, really good lineup, that's not really going to tell you much going forward.
So that's why I liked this deal for the Blue Jays, who I think maybe don't get enough credit.

Because I feel like this is just going to be a thing.
Part of it's the sky expectations, right?
He's never going to be Babe Ruth or whatever people think he's going to be.
He's not going to be his dad, probably.
Still going to be a very, very, very good baseball player.
But this isn't just like, oh, he's not meeting these expectations.
I mean, June was literally the worst month of his entire career.
You know, he still hasn't and obviously can't until the second half.
hit a home run in Canada since the American League Championship Series last year.
And as I joked with Jamie on TV the other night, two different men named Max Muncy have hit a homer in Toronto since the last time Vlad did, which is ludicrous to me.
And, you know, you look under the hood, and it's like a lot of the obvious stuff isn't there.
It's not like, oh, the bat speed's gone.
You know, it's not like he's striking out 40% of the time.
It's just I think these little, like, timing things that are not working out for him.
