Yeah, I was watching the Phillies broadcast of the game last night, right?
Because it's obviously hugely important.
I wanted to see if he'd keep the streak going.
And of course, like after every inning, they would show the list, right?
Like Drysdale and Hershiser and all these guys.
And it was pretty funny because every time he would pass one of the lesser known...
well time to go research jack coombs i don't know anything about jack coombs and like when you're having conversations about these historic guys you don't know anything about and also here's christopher sanchez in that that conversation uh it tells you how great he's been and i think i really like his story for two reasons number one we can forever stop talking about don't trade with the race forever because christopher chances was traded from the race he was a
They got for Curtis mean.
And also, I think people really are pleased with this story because the way he pitches is, I don't want to say throwback, because he's obviously got a lot of good modern qualities to his pitches, but he's not out there throwing 104.
He does not have the world's greatest sweeper, right?

Now, they've played well behind him during the streak, obviously, but in general, it's not a very good team defense.
So credit to them for doing that.
But I also think that maybe it raises the level of difficulty for Sanchez to have done this.
Yeah, well, first of all, Blake, I'm happy to tell you that when the Blue Jays play the Phillies next week, I am on Blue Jays Central for two of those three games.
