So this is where the advice comes around because everyone's like, yeah, I'll go buy a car or do this reno.

Yeah.

But if you do utilize that stuff, then you've got to like weigh up

How much will be paid off in that time if you are using one of those interest rates or fixed terms?

Nah, I like to try and challenge people a little bit in that regard.

Because what happens is, because it's an emotional time, especially first homebuyers...

It's very exciting.

And we get to like the end, you know, close to the day and we're like, right, it's time to talk about your loan structure.

That's when we talk about offset and, you know, we'll put some on one year, two year, spread some risk and because of interest rates might go up if Trump sends a bomb and all of this kind of stuff.

Yeah.

but it's really important.

Like something that I've said for a long time is like, it's about the, it's not about the interest rate.

It's about the interest you pay.

And which is like looking at that long-term and then challenging people on that.

Like, yeah.

you know, the one year might be the cheapest rate, which is fine.

The two year might get us through the war period, but provide you certainty, but it might be more expensive.
