They have put in place over many, many years contingency operations to attack the United States and its people abroad and here at home.
That is something I haven't heard this administration talk about once in the lead up to a potential attack on Iran.
It's something we should be very concerned about.
And right now, if I was a member of Congress, I would be raising hell.
I would be outside the gates of the White House and say,
Hey, we didn't decide to do this.
What is the proximate cause right now for war with this country?
We seem to have given up the plot under this Trump administration that you need to have jus abellum, which is just war rationalization for going into another country, and they're just doing it when they want to.
Again, I will say this is a terrible regime.
This is a regime that represents a threat to the United States in the long run, but this
the administration has not made the case for war, they have not involved Congress, and they certainly have not involved and engaged the American people.
Yeah, and normally, Don, you might do something like this in a very contested scenario if you wanted to increase leverage in negotiations.
It's possible that's what's happening.
But I've been in the room with this man when conversations like this are happening.
I've been in the Situation Room when we're talking about gaming these scenarios out.
And Donald Trump's team, I can tell you right now, does not know what he is going to do.
The man has not changed.
They don't know what's going to happen.
So whether folks in the military have
urged that assets be pre-planted in the region to enhance negotiations.
