you know, blood and semen and sweat and all those sorts of things on it, urine, because all those things will go onto it.
So naturally of course I keep my nice rope
Um for um for special scenes and my everyday rope is quite um perfunctory stuff.
Um so uh but it's um it's very
ceiling with that rope?
Um we're basically standing underneath um a builder's scaffolding.
And that is what I use for um uh to ground a lot of my heavy equipment in the space.
Um and that basically means that if I um do something quite rough uh with someone, which I do, but I'm a martial artist, so I actually do quite physical scenes at times.
I do scenes that involve takedown bond like takedown, um martial arts grappling techniques,
punching, kicking.
I need to know that if I'm gonna land um um a mutai kick in someone's well, you know, some someone's Grotal sack, I know that um I don't want them to fall over.
I certainly am.
Um, I think that rope um in the world and also in Australia has become more popular in the last um so fifteen to twenty years.
And I remember seeing it really take off probably about fifteen years ago, um, with certain visitors from Japan who were exponents of rope.
Um and in the last probably the last say, six to eight years, it's just caught on fire.
Why?
Um
It had to happen.
It's a really fascinating art.
It's huge um all over the world and of course, you know, sometimes things take their time to come down to Australia, but they get here.
