well would you think that's normal no but i guess kind of because i'm like well everyone loves cigarettes again and it's the world we're in yeah i understand your point of like of course especially as adults someone else sorry i understand the point you're that person's bringing up but he was talking about skibbity toilet okay wow this is like two millennials that is fun and cute and they're like cultural that was a cultural moment for kids
As was like 6-7, right?
And that can be fun.
I think like that's part of the addiction, at least for me with TikTok, is like there are and were cultural moments that do actually end up being social connections with friends.
if you were on youtube like 15 years ago and like there's a lot of people who are like what's grape lady because they were actually not watching the dumb youtube videos the way we were we were set out to become addicted to tick tock more than maybe yeah because it is there's something fun like same with watching a tv show it's fun when everyone is talking about the same thing and i think there was a moment and there are still moments when that does happen on the internet and everyone wants to feel part of that
But it does feel like it's... Okay, well, like clarification, you definitely have been on, but maybe you're not using it that much.
I'm not addicted.
No, like I have not.
Because I get the little notification on my phone number when it's like someone's trying to log into your account.
I do think it's yes and it's both.
I think as TikTok has become adopted by basically the whole world.
Arby's.
Everyone.
It's like it has niched out, right?
You end up in little... There are things that I...
only can relate to with people i don't know anymore like little niches that have millions of likes but actually none of my friends have heard of this like yeah funny one-liner like what is like the thing of covid on tiktok that we were all like dying at like there was they'll be like i'm sure think of how many sounds even just songs the other day we were like looking through like pop or watching a youtube video about like popular songs and you realize oh yeah i know that from tiktok i know that from tiktok i know that from tiktok like
So I think that kind of thing happens where a sound goes viral and suddenly everyone's like using it and it becomes a meme because the context is removed and it's now being used in lots of different.
But that happens on all.
I mean, it also depends on your competency with technology to begin with.
if ever there was something good about any of these platforms, it's that it can encourage people to create, but in the most ways, but the most consume and also, and it becomes just when you create it, the dumbest thing ever.
