But I think you have to tackle that question at some point, because otherwise, you can spend a lot of your life really unhappy.
Because like work is a lot of time.
Like if you let it go by, it's your whole life.
The one thing I would say about happiness is that like, yeah, everyone's miserable at some point at work, like, but I have this strongly held belief, which which, you know, is not mine.
If you literally do the math, like it's most of the hours in your life for most of us.
And
It's anybody that works in sort of the strengths based work or the sense of like,
to do that and be miserable or anxious or, you know, all those feelings, like for most of your life, like, how can it not affect your health?
that you are at your best when you're doing the things that you're uniquely great at and that give you energy, that that's the highest and best use of you in the world.
Like, we now have so much data that says that it does.
And I think that the question of safety and what's going to make you feel safe, like that's wildly different for everyone.
When I do work with people to ask them to think about how they want to shape their future or what they might want to invest more time in or explore next, a lot of what I'm doing is looking back over what they've done and asking, when did you feel most alive?
Like, I don't, that's not a prescriptive thing.
That's not like, oh, you hit this net worth and everyone feels safe.
Like, no, it's like,
you hit this dollar amount per month.
And some people are like, I still don't feel safe.
